self-care, made simple

Crafting self-love with intentional rituals, creative inspiration, and dedicated support.

you are worthy when you decide you are

Do you still struggle with feelings of unworthiness after years of trying to figure it out?

Are you seeking love everywhere, except within yourself and don’t know how to change?

Are you your own worst enemy when things aren’t going perfect or when you make a mistake?

Do you struggle to find time for yourself and for proper self-care, especially when others need you?

how to love yourself when you don’t know how

It’s hard to be a beginner.

Learning something new can feel vulnerable and raw like we’re fumbling through and never going to get it right. Maybe everyone else has the secret to self-love that no one told us about, so we desperately look for it in books, courses, and other people... searching for a magic cure to heal years of self-neglect and hatred. We pour our effort into manicuring these perfect lives (before comparing them to someone else’s), only to feel back at square one when things don’t work out as expected.

When we acknowledge the complexities of our internal struggles and our past, it doesn’t feel like we’re climbing a mountain toward our goals; we’re climbing out of a pit to get to where we think everyone else is.

However deep the pit or intricate the web of where you are right now, I can’t tell you that self-love is easy, but I can make it simple.

what if self-love could be simple?

Maybe you’ve heard of practice makes perfect. Well here, we’re going to focus on practice makes progress. The word itself may make you think of a meditation practice, sports practice, or even practicing witchcraft, though one thing is similar with all: consistency. Carving our time in your day to intentionally show up for self-love, because we all know what it’s like to know it’s good for us to meditate, though it doesn’t do a whole lot to think about meditating. We must learn to show up for ourselves, because that is where the real magic starts to happen.

Some ways we can make self-love a simple practice:

Learn what is holding you back from showing up for yourself and being the person you dream to be by accepting the person you are.

Identify what lights you up to integrate it into your daily routine in order to lead a more fulfilling, and aligned life.

Connect to the parts of yourself that need love, learn how to meet them where they’re at, and give it to them unconditionally.

Develop self-compassion when things don’t go as planned and how to get back up again after failure.

who am i?

My name is Cait and over the past 6 years, I have been on my own journey of understanding and cultivating what self-love actually is, including how to implement it daily using tools I’ve collected from various coaches, therapists, trainings (see below), hyper-focused nights spent researching, my devotion to my morning podcast, and learning topics related to self-worth, self-love, self-acceptance, and self-compassion.

I also learned through making a lot of mistakes about self-love, putting a ton of pressure on myself to show up as everything for everyone, and putting my worth in the hands of others. I am not perfect, and I am learning that I don’t want to be. I am on the same self-love journey as you are, and while we may be on different paths and in different places, that makes the world feel a little more connected and a little less lonely. Sometimes we all need a soft place to land when we’ve drifted too far from ourselves, and need help being guided back to who we are. And eventually, finding that soft place within our own heart.

believe in your own magic

I used to believe that I would be stuck wondering why I wasn’t as special or loved as everyone else forever, that there was something inherently flawed about who I was that I could never fix. Overtime, and with practice, now I believe new things about myself. I found love, without having to go anywhere, I conjured it myself. Whether you find what you need here or not, I want you to take a moment to stop searching, reaching, and looking for places to find it... and find one small way you can love yourself better today, because you are magic too.
